I have realized lately that I've sure been doing a lot of nail work in green. Call me the green machine. Also, after last week's "just OK" first attempt at a gradient, I figured I needed to give it another shot. And how better to do it than in green?
Here's this week's green glitter sponged gradient:
Well, it turned out much better than last week's gradient, don't you think? This look was actually very simple. I began by sponging on China Glaze's Tree Hugger, leaving a little room away from the cuticle to give it that "french tip gradient" look. I then sponged China Glaze's Turned Up Turquoise over it, leaving a little of Tree Hugger showing. I repeated the same process with China Glaze's Watermelon Rind. Since that wasn't glitzy enough, I added China Glaze's Atlantis over the Watermelon Rind just for the glitter effect. I wasn't super happy with the french tip gradient, so to spice it up I used Stripe Rite's black and white stripers to create starbursts on each nail. I topped it off with 2 coats of Seche Vite topcoat.
I love green. Almost as much as I love purple. Now if I can only decide how to paint my nails next week...
