Christmas Ruffian

For my 4th week in a row, I've gone with a ruffian. They're just so fun and I was super excited to do one with silver, like my favorite blogger Brittany with Clumps of Mascara suggested. And I really, really wanted to do a Christmas ruffian.

For this look I started with China Glaze's Devotion. I picked this silvery metallic because it dries really quickly, which is important since it's going to be under the top color and I hate those little bubbles that always seem to pop up (unfortunately, I got the bubbles anyway, but that's because I rushed the topcoat... silly me). After 2 coats of Devotion (on the top half of the nail only), I applied 2 coats of China Glaze's Watermelon Rind. It was originally a summer edition color, but it's so perfectly pine green that I had to use it. After that, I finished with 2 coats of OPI topcoat and voilĂ , it was finished.

If it weren't for those dang little bubbles. Oh well! Until next time :)

  1. These are REALLY cute; I think I might try doing this. I have these colors but I might try something else because my silvers are really streaky. Super cute, check my blog in a few days and maybe you'll see me do a version of it! Keep up the good work and beautiful ring!
